need help with my new TOSHIBA 24inch TV set (1 Viewer)

Hello all.
I am writing this because I need some help from you guys.
I purchased a toshiba 24 inch TV set yesterday (24AF41 is the model number) for my home theater (Yes, I am a poor college student ) and the picture is not correct.
What I mean is that display on the screen looks like a trapazoid instead of retangular. the two sides are not parallel (an isosceles trapezoid)

I believe the parameter you want to change is called "trap" in the service menu. Good luck!

I find it odd that 2 sets have this same problem. What are you connecting to it?

connected PS2 and DVD player via regular AV cable.
i was able to adjust the picture via the service menu but still not perfect.
