I learned an interesting toilet tip from one of those home improvement shows. Apparently, the cheaper toilets sold at stores like Home Depot and Menards really do clog more. The reason for this? On the low-end models sold to these stores, the manufacturers cut costs by not glazing the porcelain inside the trap. As a result, solids don't navigate the rough surface very well and get stuck. As always, you get what you pay for...
