MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN will not play on my Apex 600A (1 Viewer)

I'm getting mighty sick of Columbia DVD's (STUART LITTLE and several others) incompatability with my Apex player. Are they doing this on purpose?

Well, I doubt they're doing it on purpose, but the Apex 600A is a buggy little machine. I have one in addition to my 414. I'll check and see if I have the same problem tomorrow

With this movie, I cannot get beyond the first menu. It will not allow me to play the movie, no matter from what screen I try to play it. Widescreen or P&S, same problem.
