That made sense, didn't it? :)

Rather Watch: Bridge, not really sure on this one since I've only seen Times once, but I guess since I own Bridge and don't own Times, than I'd rather watch Bridge.

More Serious: Tie
Better Art: Modern Times
Better Film: Bridge on the River Kwai, by the same hair as Steve

And Rob, ultimately we are talking about a movie and a comedy. I'm sure there are hundreds of movies you like that have premises far more outlandish than that of The Apartment.

- Don't ask me about that logic. I just feel it that way.

Modern Times wins the more serious vote, and Kwai takes the others.

Didn't Modern Times win "better art," not "more serious"?

I was debating which film would get the ‘serious’ nod. While it is tempting to vote for the anti-war movie, I’ll observe that Hitch’s take on voyeurism, obsession and struggling within constraints is equally serioius, and more profoundly realized.

Better Film: Rear Window, though my answer here is colored by the "rather watch" factor, as I think I think most of our responses are here. It strikes me that "rather watch" and "better film" should always be the same film, should they not??
