Sick I know, but a friend and co-worker of mine is scheduled to have a colonoscopy in early November.

The loving team that he works with wants to make this fun for him and wants to compile a list of movie titles that would fit the bill.

Here is what we've got so far (no X-rated please) for our list of suggested viewing. [IMG]

If you want gross, go for the half hour of autopsy footage on By Brakhage (The Act of Seeing for One's Self). Yum.

The obvious choice would seem to be Deliverance--as long as he is compelled not to squeal like a pig during the procedure.

I was actually looking for "titles" that have double meaning and would maintain a humorous aspect. I'm not exactly looking for movies that actually deal with the subject matter.

I'll be making up a PowerPoint presentation, along with captured audio clips such as Billybob saying "We drill" from Armageddon, or Fletch "...are you using the whole fist doc?"

Perhaps some photos of humorous items such as garden hoses on sale etc. The intent was to keep it lite and humorous for the guy.

    BACKDRAFT!!! YES!!! I LIKE IT!

The Big Lebowski (referring to the scene when The Dude listens to "Looking Out My Back Door." Those who have seen the film know what I'm talking about. [IMG] )

Thanks for the help guys! I think we've got a worthy list.

Here it is, in the event any of you wish to copy it for similar use in helping a friend laugh along.

"Analyze This" (or That) ... alternate spelling ANALyze This.
    "The Sum of All Fears"
    "Blood Simple" (eww)

Also, you and your coworkers clearly have "Cruel Intentions" ... plus, it would give you an excuse to play the scene where Sara M. G. says "You can stick it anywhere"!

    Fantastic Voyage?
    Innerspace?

Plus in the movie Bachelor Party, there is a funny scene with some proctologists.
