The 27 limit is a swine. I can only think of the following ones that haven't already been suggested:

My mind is going
2001

don't call me Shirley
Airplane

we come from France
Coneheads

they're he-re!
Poltergeist

if it bleeds we can kill it
Predator

Mother isn't herself today
Psycho

too many notes, Mozart
Amadeus

your car's uglier than I am
American Graffiti

I hate manure
Back to the Future II (& III)

double secret probation
Animal House

failure is not an option
Apollo 13

Houston, we have a problem
Apollo 13

we just Melvined Death
Bill & Ted's Bogus Adventure

we're on a mission from God
Blues Brothers

the past is another country
The Go-Between

positively shocking
Goldfinger

Charlie don't surf
Apocalypse Now

More than 27 characters, but my all time favourite:

Where's the rest of that moose?
Arthur

A few more—and I agree with everyone who finds the 27 characters (including spaces) to be a challenge:

“Go to bed, Aunt Abby!”—Arsenic and Old Lace

“What happened to your wings”—It’s a Wonderful Life

“Will the Senator yield?”—Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

“He's still pixilated.”—Mr. Deeds Goes to Town

“I coulda been a contender”—On the Waterfront

“Hey, Stella!”—A Streetcar Named Desire

“But with a little sex in it”—Sullivan’s Travels

“Daughters—Phooey!”—The Miracle of Mrogan’s Creek

“Here's to failure”—The Producers

“Good night, Frau Blücher.”—Young Frankenstein

“Y tu mamá también"—Y tu mamá también

One of the most often quoted quotes:

"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

But alas, it doesn't fit :frowning: Perhaps there's a way to use just a section of it that would still be clear.

You sure there's no way to make it a scrolling marquee so you can fit in longer ones? 27 characters is really short. The first sentence of that quote doesn't even fit.
