So apparently 25th Hour wasn't the first time Lee had the actors yell slurs directly at the camera in order to make some kind of profound statement on race relations. Hey, guess what, it's still lame 15 years later.

Interesting to see the wildly divergent opinions on which films are better. A tell-tale sign of a director whose greatness may be arguable, but whose complexity is not.
