I for one would like see more of John Ford's films released, with the care that Warners has been giving their DVD lately. I have heard that they are working on a box-set of the films with John Wayne, for the 50th anniversary of the Searchers.I hope this would be as complete as the Hitchcock set, and includeThe Long Voyage Home). But, what about The Fugitive, Wagon Master, andThe Informer! I hope these are being considered. Some these were to have been some of Ford's personal favorites.

I think that Warner Bros. has been leading the way, as far as releasing, beautiful looking films at a resonable price. I just wanted to put this out there.
    P.S.
Robert Altman's Brewster McCloud!!! I really think if it is released properly, it will sell. I know several people who are waiting.

Heartily seconded; waiting very eagerly to see what Ford films Warners are coming up with (though I think that the Warner R2 UK releases of 3 Godfathers and Mogambo provide some indication). Also hoping that Criterion come up with their rumoured John Ford set.

I've variously stated them before, so here it goes again:

    "Electric Dreams"
    "Crossing Delancey"
    "Year Of The Dragon"
    "Who's That Girl?"
    "URGH! A Music War"
"Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation"

These are the big 6 I'm waiting on from Warner.

    Sincerely,

    John Kilduff...

I'm not up on my classics...Sorry. I do have the Warner Legends box set and "Meet Me In St. Louis", though.

I'll buy nearly any silent film Warner releases. I pre-ordered the Lon Chaney set last year and will do so for December's Buster Keaton set. If 2005 sees the release of some of the Garbo silents (as rumored) and hopefully, Greed, those will be pre-ordered too.

Off the top of my head, the other notables include:

    - The Crowd
    - The Big Parade (under restoration)
    - Tell It To the Marines (Lon Chaney)
    - The Unholy Three (Chaney, plus '30 remake)
    - He Who Gets Slapped (Chaney)
    - Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ
    - The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Valentino)
    - Noah's Ark
    - The Fire Brigade
    - The Wind

Also, one really neat release would be a "premiere show" version of the 1926 Don Juan. The film had an entire pre-show with about a half-dozen shorts. In fact, it would be neat to have a small wave of "Vitaphone Classics" consisting of Don Juan, The Jazz Singer, and a set or two of Vitaphone shorts... all with participation from The Vitaphone Project. Given how there's a ton of shorts that are fully restored (both sound and visual) plus the feature films with restored picture and sound... it would be neat.

(Also, count me in for A Face in the Crowd! No Time For Sergeants would be great, too.)

"Crossing Delancey" & "Year Of The Dragon" are two titles I'll second as ones I'd like to see. "Crossing Delancey" is a higher priority for me since I already have a R3 "Year Of The Dragon". I'd love to see a commentary from Amy Irving on "Crossing Delancey".
