    He started out making dramas, and then was blacklisted. When he returned, his focus was on lighter films, being one of the foremost directors in the late 50s/early 60s Sex Comedy subgenre, including the masterpiece, Pillow Talk.

    No, it was to find directors that Brook would find obscure, rather than the ones he has that I find obscure. Given that this thread has him saying, "Hadn't heard of this director, haven't seen anything", I think I've succeeded. [​IMG]

    Dated, with a high cheese factor, but kind of enjoyable anyway between Rock Hudson and Charles Boyer.
