I saw the director's edition last week. I really liked it.

Watching it tonight (the DVD) on a Sony SXRD with a Denon 3910 via HDMI.

Not a great transfer but maybe this is the way it looked at the movies. Very soft.

The only scenes that look real good are the slow pan "film" parts.

Not a movie I would return to and not "demo" material.
