message alerts in outlook express (1 Viewer)

Can someone tell me why my email alerts don't work? I have the "play sound when message arrives" option enabled, and it is set to check every 30 minutes, but I am not notified when I have a message.

Hello

I had the same problem, I found out it could be a Virus causing it not to work.

I cleaned my PC with norton and Mcafee Antivirus, Then downloaded Eudora, And all the bells and whistles started
working

Eudora is a mail program like outlook, And works about the same.. But I think Eudora works much better..
