Thank you very much Reed, I hope there will be some more Golden Age 3-D on Blu-ray in the near future. I'm not getting any younger!

I've just put up a new article "Preserving a Lost 3-D Film" which covers the production and restoration of DRAGONFLY SQUADRON. I hope that you find it interesting. http://www.3dfilmarchive.com/home/dragonfly-squadron

Thank you Bob. You're not the only one not getting any younger! ;) Without your effort on these gems I doubt we would EVER see them again, yet even in a superior improved condition! :) :3dglasses:

Bob, I'm curious about one thing. You put up a bunch of posters/stills for the 3D rarities. Are those the only titles that will be on that disc or are there a few more? And does this mean you actually got College Capers converted from the pretty rough on the eyes anaglyph to 3D Blu Ray?

Pre-ordered.

Gotta support these classic fifties 3D titles. Then, hopefully, we'll get more. :)
They'd be easier to support if they abolished regional coding. I resent having to buy a very expensive new player to watch one or two ancient movies.

That's just a sample, there will be more titles on the disc!

Yes, we've done considerable restoration work on College Capers. It's not perfect but will be much better than what you have seen previously.

I'm happy to report that THE BUBBLE and DRAGONFLY SQUADRON will be region free.
If this really is the case I'll happily contribute to a statue in your honour.

Thanks but I don't like pigeons. Buying a copy of each title will be much better. :)

I got the confirmation from both Kino and Olive yesterday. They said it was not too late to make them regain A exclusive and would I want that? I said, absolutely not!
Maybe a medal instead. Well done.

Very cool! I wish I didn't have to work that day, as it's not too far from my job, but alas, it's not meant to be. I hope it's a kickass afternoon and hopefully I'll be able to make it next time you're introducing something in the area. Would love the opportunity one day to put a face with the name!

Thanks a lot for doing this. The article was very interesting. BTW: were you in the projection booth when things went wrong at the last 3-D expo? That must have been stressful.

Thanks, Josh. I'm sorry that you can't make it.

There's a VERY good possibility we will be doing some more 3-D events with MOMA in the fall...
Very cool!

It's a VERY long story but for various unpleasant reasons, I was not in the booth.

Stressed is one word to describe how I was feeling that day.

In fact, if it wasn't for a very kind gentleman in the balcony audience who was a part-time projectionist, the out of sync issue would have lasted much longer. They were using the audio from the improperly printed left side and were supposed to be using the right. When I asked him to switch the audio feed, he was up those steps to the booth in a matter of seconds.

If you're reading this, thanks again Aaron!
