I'll be buying all of these Bob!
Thank you Bob. You're not the only one not getting any younger! Without your effort on these gems I doubt we would EVER see them again, yet even in a superior improved condition!Bob Furmanek said:Thank you very much Reed, I hope there will be some more Golden Age 3-D on Blu-ray in the near future. I've just put up a new article "Preserving a Lost 3-D Film" which covers the production and restoration of DRAGONFLY SQUADRON. I hope that you find it interesting. http://www.3dfilmarchive.com/home/dragonfly-squadron
They'd be easier to support if they abolished regional coding. I resent having to buy a very expensive new player to watch one or two ancient movies.Reed Grele said:Pre-ordered.
Gotta support these classic fifties 3D titles. Then, hopefully, we'll get more.
That's just a sample, there will be more titles on the disc!Todd J Moore said:Bob, I'm curious about one thing. You put up a bunch of posters/stills for the 3D rarities. Are those the only titles that will be on that disc or are there a few more? And does this mean you actually got College Capers converted from the pretty rough on the eyes anaglyph to 3D Blu Ray?
I'm happy to report that THE BUBBLE and DRAGONFLY SQUADRON will be region free.StephenDH said:They'd be easier to support if they abolished regional coding. I resent having to buy a very expensive new player to watch one or two ancient movies.
If this really is the case I'll happily contribute to a statue in your honour.Bob Furmanek said:I'm happy to report that THE BUBBLE and DRAGONFLY SQUADRON will be region free.
Maybe a medal instead. Well done.Bob Furmanek said:Thanks but I don't like pigeons. Buying a copy of each title will be much better.
I got the confirmation from both Kino and Olive yesterday. They said it was not too late to make them regain A exclusive and would I want that? I said, absolutely not!
Thanks a lot for doing this. The article was very interesting. BTW: were you in the projection booth when things went wrong at the last 3-D expo? That must have been stressful.Bob Furmanek said:Thank you very much Reed, I hope there will be some more Golden Age 3-D on Blu-ray in the near future. I'm not getting any younger!

Very cool!Bob Furmanek said:Thanks, Josh. I'm sorry that you can't make it.
There's a VERY good possibility we will be doing some more 3-D events with MOMA in the fall...
It's a VERY long story but for various unpleasant reasons, I was not in the booth.JoeDoakes said:Thanks a lot for doing this. The article was very interesting. BTW: were you in the projection booth when things went wrong at the last 3-D expo? That must have been stressful.
