Played with them today. Not only were they some of the cleanest, crispiest speakers I have ever heard, they played at VERY loud levels with no distortion (Denon 3805).

I usually hate in-wall, on-wall speakers, but these things blew me away. Not only did they sound fantastic, but they played VERY loud and were small and beautiful.

Sure, there are better speakers out there, but for what these things are - I was amazed. $1,000 a pop is a bit hard to swallow, but ML need not justify the price, as the demo did that.

If I had to describe the sound in one word, it would be 'clean'.

Congrats on the ML's. They look like they would be very versatile in thier placement.

Opps. I didn't buy them, but if I was in a situation where I could not have free-standing speakers, I would be happy with them!

Sorry. My bad. I didn't look close enough at your post. They still look cool though.
