I warned you people. Studios do not give a damn about us. If syndicated sells and saves them some money, the hell with fans' disappointment. Unless someone sues them for fraud, they will get worse and worse. They are money hungry prostitutes with no values at all.

I don't mean to be a jerk but everyone always says "We can sue over this!" and no one ever does it. I'm not a laywer but I doubt that you could win a lawsuit like this but if so many people think it's a slam dunk case, why not stop talking about it and go to court.

If syndicated episodes saved the studios time and money, then why aren't ALL the episodes on the season 4 set syndicated? Hmm. I'm a diehard fan of the series and won't be buying the set, I have the first 3 but unless an explanation is given for the cut episodes I won't be buying (unless way down the line I can find it used for like $5 or something, heh.)

Great thats another pre-order I have ready to cancel.

I think now I am stopping all preorders on TV shows unless I know whether they are edited or not.

THis is getting to be a joke.

WOrst of all now I am going to presume future MWC releases are going to contain edited eps as well unless I hear otherwise

Pavan, does "It's a Bundyful Life" appear as 1 episode or 2 episodes on the DVD? Also, what is the length for that particular episode(s)?

Either way, I plan on buying season 4. What I might just do, though, is take the unedited versions I have of the episodes that appear edited on the DVD, and insert the missing stuff (which is only 30-40 seconds, so not too bad...not saying it's good, of course). Then, I'll burn a separate copy of just those episodes for my viewing entertainment. I only have 5 of the 7 episodes in question, though. They all fall within the 23:00-23:15 range.

It doesn't surprise me about Sony resorting to this. Sony ALWAYS finds a way to screw it up. Whether it be a year or two between DVD releases, music replacements, edited episodes...the list goes on and on.

Another set I won't be buying. I should look at this as a blessing. The studios keep saving me more and more money...
