Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple on R1 DVD? (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone,

I am hooked on the BBC Joan Hickson as Miss Marple DVDs an am currently collecting the series. I discovered that the complete set of 4 Miss Marple MGM movies starring Dame Margaret Rutherford in the title role is being released on February 2nd, 2004 from Warner Bros. in Region 2. Does anyone know when we can expect a Region 1 release of these treasured mysteries? Any information is much appreciated.

i don´t know anyhting about a RC1 release but i guess it won´t be that different to the german warner set which is already out.

wrong video formats (at least 3 of the movies) and none, not a single extra (not even a trailer), nothing.
besides the wrong video format the picture quality is quite good.

Hopefully when we get them the video will be formatted correctly and trailers will be included.

as the americans (and their labels) like FS i guess the wrong format (4:3) will be the same.
