Thank Juan. Just gave it a listen, and wow, it's REALLY different. The entire film must have an entirely different mood and feeling in the French version! Have you given a listen to any of the US soundtrack samples, that'll give you an idea of why I say that.

I have just listened to the US soundrack samples and I agree with you. I think I'd like the French soundtrack better. You might not like the electronica side of it, but it made the film different.

In its American incarnation, no wonder reviewers such as James Berardinelli said it had nothing over any good National Geographic documentary.
