Marantz SR-5000 ? (1 Viewer)

Want to upgrade my sons A/V Reciever(old pro-logic ).
Thinking about getting this for him. Anyone have any comments on this Receiver(good/bad)?
Seems like a good deal? I've bought other "Refurbished" equipt. before and was satisfied with it.

I just pruchased that reciever from accessories4less. I should recieve it in about a week. If you have not already bought something by then, I will post a thread describing my experience when I recieve the um... receiver.

I've bought Cables from them several times, and have been very pleased with their quick service.

I've purchased several cables, and 2 refurbished Marantz products from them - service was great and everything works great.
Also, the SR5000 is a great receiver, especially considering the price at AC4L. I don't think it has all the bells and whistles of some of the newer budget receivers in that price range, but the 2-channel performance is very good.
