hi

What do you consider inexpensive and what kind of specs are you looking for?

I have a Harmon Kardon amp kicking around that is extremely solid. About 175 wpc at 8 ohms and a dynamic WPC of around 340???. $325 plus shipping.

Let me know if interested.

My idea of inexpensive for an amp is somewhere in the $300 range. The exact specs I'm looking for I'm really not too sure of. I have an Denon that is putting out 85 WPC, and I'm looking for something to power the two fronts and ease the burden from the Denon.

My amp at $325 sounds pretty close to that $300 mark. Give me a call if interested. 207 778 5417

I have a Rotel RB-956AX that I would ship to you for $270 total. It has a few scratches as I bought it used, but it works perfectly!

I was just thinking of putting it for sale on here, but I just hadn't done it yet.

It's actually 6 X 40 watts, but can be bridged to 3 X 100.

Let me know if you're interested or would like pics, etc.

Thanks! David

Dan,
You indeed have the right idea to beef up the front-end.
May I ask what speakers you use? What Denon?
Power requirements really vary with speakers.
Sometimes it's better to just upgrade the speakers.
If you use your Denon for home theater 5.1-7.1
Maybe you should look at three channels.
That center needs some serious clean power during movies.
"speaker & size of room dependent"
Plus this way you help keep the power seamless across the whole front.
I use these mono's in the front-end with my Denon avr-5700 and also with my B&K Ref50 setup.
The Denon is rated @ 5x140wpc ultra thx, was bench tested @ 125wpc all five driven.
This ultra thx mono amp kicks butt all over the Denon amp.
It was way under rated.
All the spec's of the amp are on the page.

I sent you a email with contact info
I can not hit your target price,
But maybe we can work something out.
You have some nice amp offers coming your way,
Take your time do the research and find match to your current gear. :emoji_thumbsup:

Dan,
I presently have an Adcom 545 for sale. I was selling it locally because I ditched the box a few years ago. I am still using it but will sell for $225 plus shipping.
