Looking for a Good Soundbar (1 Viewer)

I'm limited in space so I think the best solution would be a simulated surround-sound soundbar. Am I right about this?
If so, then I'd like to know what features to get.
I'm basically looking for something that has enough bass and makes dialogue discernible (able to hear it).
I also posted this in beginners but thought I might get better luck here.

Yes I had a budget, and that was near the lowest cost possible. I got this:
