What is the correct mode to use when listening to a DVD?
(Dolby Digital (ac-3), Pro Logic, 3 Stereo) (Arena, Jazz Club, Stadium, Church, Theater, Thanks Gary :confused:

ya should never really use a DSP format.. ie Jazz, Club etc...

If it is in Dolby Digital use DD... if its DTS.. use DTS... if stereo use 2ch...

As stated it depends on the DVD, and can even depend somewhat on your preference.

It is a good idea on each DVD to see if it allows you to select on one of the DVD menus the sound mode, and match what you pick. But also play around some with all your modes on a given source, you just may find a somewhat odd combo for any given source that you may prefer over a correct one.

If your more interested, I can sort of post a cheat sheet based on my experiences.
