When I posted the thread about "Your 10 Favorite Bands Of All Time" it got me thinking about my favorite songs and I thought maybe the forum members would like to also list their favorite songs.

When composing my list I tried to think of the songs that moved me the most, and while I might have forgotten some tracks, I think this is a fairly accurate list and describes my tastes and likes very well.

10 - Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty
9 - Planet Caravan by Pantera
8 - Just My Imagination by The Temptations
7 - Paper Bag by Fiona Apple
6 - Silent Lucidity by Queensryche
5 - Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
4 - Tiny Dancer by Elton John
3 - H by Tool
2 - Would? by Alice In Chains
1 - Thank You by Led Zeppelin

I look forward to hearing everybody else's favorite tunes!

1.Ac/dc-Hell's Bells- My whole life I've tried to recreate this feeling of awe and dread that this song brings to a listener. If this song is palyed at my funeral I will feel fufilled

2.AC/DC-For those about to rock- Whenever I'm about to go do something i haven't done before like ask a girl out or create a website I listen to this! This song makes you feel like you can do anything.

3.Type O Negative-Love you to death- To me this sums my feelings on the opposite sex completly. Especially the end where Pete sings "Am I good enough for you?" over and over again because I never feel i AM.

4.Aerosmith-The Other Side-This song is about a bad break-up or something but it gets me pumped the fuck up.

5.Eric Clapton-Layla- This is a song that reminded me of when I was desperatly in love with this girl back in 1998. It brings back memories good and bad. All hail Clapton

6.Queensryche-Eyes of A Stranger-This song is so dreary and depressing but still it's like rocking at the same time. It's really a dark song but I likes it.

7.Gonna Fly Now-Bill Conti-The theme to Rocky.

8.Ozzy Osbourne-Mr. Crowley-I haven't listened to this song too often the past 4 years but this song helped me understand just how awesome extended guitar solos could be.

9.Guns N Roses-November Rain-I can't describe how I felt the first time I heard this song. It was like arriving at the gates of heaven. One of the most perfectly written songs ever.

10.Nine Inch Nails-Last- Another BIG song that made me love rock music. There's so much energy in this song it's sick. it just pounds away at you like an abusive step father.

:emoji_thumbsup:

I came so close to choosing this, but opted for "Thunder Road" instead. "Backstreets" and "Meeting Across the River" are right up there as well, and all would be in my Top 25
