Friendship doesn’t always go according to plan in Friends with Kids, the heart-felt new comedy from actress/writer/producer/director Jennifer Westfeldt (Ira & Abbey, Kissing Jessica Stein), delivering on Blu-ray Disc, DVD and Digital Download July 17 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Earning a #1 spot on Entertainment Weekly’s “Must List” and hailed by New York Magazine as “a rapid fire crowd pleaser,”Friends with Kids shares the story of a close-knit group of friends who have their relationships tested when parenthood enters the picture. The film is highlighted by an ensemble cast that along with Westfeldt includes Adam Scott (TV’s “Parks And Recreation,” TV’s “Party Down”), Golden Globe® winner Jon Hamm** (TV’s “Mad Men”), Academy Award® nominee Kristen Wiig*, Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, TV’s “Saturday Night Live”), Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids), Megan Fox (Transformers) and Edward Burns (27 Dresses, Saving Private Ryan).

The Friends with Kids Blu-ray Disc and DVD release is loaded with must-see bonus features including a side-splitting gag reel featuring some of today’s most celebrated actor/comedians, deleted scenes, a “making of” featurette and an audio commentary. The Blu-ray Disc and DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $39.99 and $27.98, respectively.

The hilarious ensemble comedy is about a close-knit circle of friends whose lives change once they have kids. The last two singles in the group (Westfeldt and Scott) observe the effect that kids have had on their friends' relationships and wonder if there's a better way to make it work. When they decide to have a child together and date other people, their unconventional “experiment” leads everyone in the group to question the nature of friendship, family and, above all, true love.
