I've been hoping to see "La Joven" for years, but didn't spring for the recent Optimum boxset that included it (I had all the other films already, in comparable or better quality).

I know nothing of "Gran Casino". Is there any relation between these two titles, other than "Lion's Gate happens to hold the distribution rights"?

Thanks for posting that cover image of the Bunuel set, Paul...I love that pic[IMG]!

While this set pales besides Lionsgate's recent Renoir 3-Discer which I've been sampling of late, I am truly grateful for this collection because:

    a) Luis Bunuel is my all-time favorite director
    b) GRAN CASINO (1947) is the only Bunuel film I have not yet seen
    c) My three viewings so far of THE YOUNG ONE (1960) - a highly interesting and vastly underrated film - have been via a VHS recording off of an Italian TV screening which suffered from intermittent picture loss!
