I had a video tape of this nearly 20 years ago and I watched it over and over until it fell apart. I was wondering when it will be finally available on DVD. If there is any Beatles DVD I want more than anything else, this is it. Anyone heard any news about it?

I think I heard rumors that 'Let It Be... Naked' came about as a result of early posturing for a DVD of the documentary.

Apple is saying 2004 or 2005.

The DVD is being worked on.

    "Worked on".
    That's a scary thought!
Is Paul now going to remove all the film grain?
So, 'it looks like a 2004 (re: digital) movie.
Like he had LiB:N, no-noised to death, too remove the tape hiss.
So, 'it sounds like a 2003 (re: digital) recording.
    Somebody, save us!!!

The old Magnetic Videotape for LET IT BE was the very FIRST home video movie I ever owned, and I bought it USED back in 1981 before I even bought a VCR (1982)!
Funny thing how this tape is still necessary to my collection, over 20 years later! Even when the inevitable DVD emerges someday I'll probably hang onto the VHS for purely sentimental reasons.

I'll bet the sound (stereo?) is better on the "old" tape, than the 'sure too be' "improved" DVD.
    How's the sound on LD?
