A special screening will be held in Los Angeles TONIGHT.

The 50th Anniversary of "The ROBE" will be held this Wednesday, November 18 at the Motion Picture Academy Goldwyn Theatre. The is a brand new print from original elements that will be in the original release aspect ratio of 2.55 to 1.

This film was the FIRST released Cinemascope Feature in 1953. The Original aspest ratio of cinemascope was 2.55 to 1 but was later reduced to 2.39 with the addition of an optical sound track.

The screening tomorrow evening will be accoplished by running the sound as double system with interlocked mag film.

This new print version may not play anywhere else in the world in the near future.
