Actually, I have been eagerly waiting for you to get those grills done. How did you attach the cloth? Just staples?

bill, the cloth is glued on (only) with 3M 77 spray glue.
you cut the fabric to approximate size, spray the painted frame with glue, then stretch the fabric over the glue. after it has "grabbed" the fabric, you trim the excess with a razor. kinda messy on the hands but seems to hold well.
the corners are a bugger to get right, and the concave curve on the bottom of 281's was a challenge.
