Mine looks pretty good so far, though I have only had time to sample the disc. I have an OPPO 980 and this is the first time I have used the multi-region/PAL ot NTSC functionality. I understand that PAL speeds everything up by 4% but I can't perceive any problems.

Mine looked pretty good from the few minutes here and there that I watched. I use the Sherwood bdp-5004. Very, very rarely have I ever noticed an issue with PAL discs (it handles them quite well, honestly).

Still don't have mine yet, but I checked my copies of the iTunes and Spanish DVD, and the shimmering bricks in the shot starting at about 5:10 is evident on both. It's no deal breaker, but it sure makes one long for a good HD transfer.
