You don't have to wait "years" anymore. According to The Digital Bits (www.thedigitalbits.com), Sony will release all four movies separately on June 7.
Sony really wants to piss people off by announcing the separation AFTER the set has been released. Not very good customer relations at all...
And yet a third version of Matilda? This one had better be anamorphic widescreen. But that's for another post. -
Considering the rediculously low price of the box-set...almost the price of a "normal" single-movie package...I hardly see what's worth complaining about. You can probably buy the box set slightly used on amazon for less than the single-film release of the first movie "new" once it becomes available.
