Need some advice
Current Setup

Panasonic RV31 DVD Player/MP3 Player

Definitive Technology Pro-Cinema
Our old low end VCR circa 1995 broke and my wife wants a new one.
Does anyone have any opinions or advice about the jvc combo DVD/VCR? I figured I could move my old dvd into the bedroom and use the combo for the living room. Do you think the quality would be similiar to what I currently have for movies and mp3s?
Also by looking at the pictures, I can't tell if I have to hook this thing up twice. Will the component hook ups play dvds and the vhs movies? Likewise, will the optical audio play both the dvds and the vhs (pro-logic for vhs of course)
The main reasons that I like the JVC are remote controller integreation between my tv & vcr as well as the mp3 capability.
Anyway, any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.
