I really didn't notice anything strange about the sound.

These are undoubtedly the same masters WHV used for the 2-volume, 4-episode VHS collection in the '90s. I have one of the tapes and it was excellent, in spite of no laughtrack and HB logo @ the end.

They didn't include the original Scooby theme for the SDWAY! Seasons 1 & 2 set (which is why I shined on adding it to my collection). However, it can be heard on the foreign tracks on the Scooby-Doo's Greatest Mysteries DVD.

Josie is on Boomerang on Demand?! Funny how my BOD lists only Dexter's Laboratory and Smurfs episodes....

Brett, on amazon the current set is selling pretty decently.Give it time, I bet we will see josie and the pussycats in outer space boxset sometime in 2008, but thats just a wild guess on my part.
