Why would it have to be in the middle of the night?

According to the info on the page linked to earlier in the thread (I have no idea if that is correct or not), they got married May 1st and the domain was registered May 3rd. Sounds perfectly believable that someone at the hotel came in to clean for example, saw the camera, hooked it up to the TV (if it wasn't already), saw what was on the tape, stole it and registered the domain.

Also, the way she was carrying on -it was probably the "first" of a "multi-session" night. She couldn't get enough of the guy!

The thing I don't understand (I totally agree it's a set-up tape,) is why didn't she just go legit porn or Playboy. I'll be honest, I'm not attracted to her at all, but still, let's do the math.

$1,000,000/$40 a tape = 25,000 tapes. But she needs to split it. I'm curious how many actual paid downloads that even Paris' video got -- because there's no way in hell Jenna comes even close to it.

I'm sure Playboy would have offered a $100,000 grand that's a straight up "keep you dignity" offer and put towards a house or towards the twins college. She probably could have got a good dollar figure from legit porn, and still got to have sex with the same guy.

I just don't see how she's going to make a lot off this tape... That said, I still say it's a set-up, just a really dumb set-up.

It could be due to perception. If she wanted to get into the news, she could put out a tape that creates a lot of buzz, and then pretend that she never meant for it to get out. She doesn't really cash in, but she betters her chances of getting TV roles, etc. because people know her or are at least interested.

If she went to Playboy or porn, she would just be yet another person in Playboy or porn, and it's hard to get into TV/movies once you've established yourself in porn. She may be trying to mimic Paris Hilton's success.
