On 26th January Network Video releases the 1966 Richard Johnson spy thriller, 'Deadlier Than The Male'. Unlike the R1 this version has been remastered in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and features the following extras: On-set interviews with Richard Johnson, Elke Sommer, Sylvia Koscina, Nigel Green and Steve Carlson plus two previously unseen location reports. Also on the same date is the delightful 1962 British comedy 'The Fast Lady' starring James Robertson Justice and Stanley Baxter, Leslie Philips and Julie Christie. As with DTTM this has been remastered but the only extra is the films trailer. TV wise Network will also release a double disc set of fondly remembered black comedy 'A Very Peculiar Practice', also on the 26th, starring Peter Davison. Extras comprise commentaries with Peter Davision, writer Andrew Davies and director David Tucker on Wives of Great Men and Contact Tracer, 1986 Pebble Mill interview with Peter Davison and a 1986 Breakfast Time interviw with John Bird. 16th February sees a triple disc, digitally restored edition of 'Sykes The Complete 1972 Series' starring comedian Eric Sykes with Hattie Jacques, Richard Wattis and Deryck Guyler. Extras comprise Six extended episodes out of the total 16, "In the Studio", featuring outtakes from 12 episodes, Spotlight - Eric Sykes special from 1981, 2003 interview with Eric Sykes and Restoration featurette.
