IR repeater for cabinet (1 Viewer)

i have searched and searched. i'm looking for a device that sits on top of my tv or cabinet and has the IR emitter wires (@5) that run into my cabinet and connect to my components. this allows me to close my cabinet (9 mo old) and control my devices. i can only find IR repeaters for large distances and such. thanks

Sounds like you want a a Xantech Hidden Link Kit. This is an IR recvr (little black box that sits on a shelf), an 4 emitter distribution block, 4 stick-on IR Emitters, and a power supply. I use one of these in each of my systems for the same reasons you say you need one. I think I paid about $85 for each kit from ASIhome.com. The model is 291-KIT.
