iPad Safari Tabs Refresh Too Much (1 Viewer)

When I'm browsing in safari on my iPad 2, I will have several tabs open. I will leave a tab and then return to it very quickly. It will refresh on it's own. This will happen even when I've only been away from the tab for just a moment or two.

Is there anyway to control this so it doesn't happen so often?

If you find out, let me know, it is a BITCH copying stuff from one tab to another, especially on forums. I think the latest patch has made it worse, I never had this issue before.
