Damn shame it's not a blu ray of the 1953 version, i remember enjoying this remake but i haven't seen it in 25 years.

yeah, me too.
I remember it had so much suspense and fright too (for a kid back then)!
I watched recently Paris,Texas for the first time.
I constantly was thinking that the kid reminded me of something, and then I realized it was the same kid from Invaders!

I really like the 1986 version (with the late & lovely Karen Black), so I'll be buying this, not the three disc version, the one disc will do.

This is cool news ..I wonder if Invaders from Mars 1986 will get a US release..I feel as if Scream Factory could license this movie.. but the 3 disc set sure is tempting

It might have been, had Wade Williams not been such a jerk about handing his source material over to someone who would gladly restore it. Unbelievably selfish...and so far there doesn't seem to be any proof that he is the legal owner of this film! So INVADERS FROM MARS goes, so go a pile of other films he is withholding inside his very tight briefs.
