There is no CG on the laserdisc release of Raiders.

Is this an opinion or do you know for sure?

Considering that the widescreen laserdiscs were done in 1993, who would have done it and why only the clouds. I know CGI was available at that time, but I don't think it was convincing enough to do clouds then.

Is this an opinion or do you know for sure?

I know for sure. Raiders is my favorite movie of all time, and I bought the LD the second it came out in 1992. Since that time I've seen the movie 8 times theatrically (once even building the actual 35mm print). And the last time I saw it (in July of this year), it was a brand new print which looked fabulous. If there were ever any changes done to this movie, I'd know about it.
