    Not in HDTV as it was in the past on ABC-HD?

    Nope, NBC has suspended HD until the war is over

    It still seems funny why Home Theater Forum members would want to watch a movie on network TV, even if it was in HDTV. The broadcasters almost never show them in their OAR, then they hack the crap out of them, and to top it off there are endless streams of commercials.

    As soon as I got my first laserdisc player in '91 I stopped watching major movies on TV (yes, there have been the occational made for TV movies and miniseries). I couldn't stand to anymore.

    Umm, Dan they often show them OAR on the HD channel.

    Indiana Jones was OAR, SW Episode 1 was OAR
