No need to dread, 40 is the new 30. In all seriousness though, you have a beautiful new daughter, so you have done something with your life. In addition to what you may have done with your career. No need to be glum, think about all you have compared to some others. Better to be alive and kickin' than 6 feet under. Alright, enough cliches and platitudes. You are alive and well, enjoy, I plan on embracing my mid-life crisis which is due very soon.

Well, except for my kid being born, the 30's at least for me have been rather bumpy. Much more so than the 20's.

25 was still my best year. 35 I think my worst.
