Some bizzare choices here. How can they call this box set "fan favorites" if its missing "An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge", "Death Ship" and inexplicably enough... "The Masks", "The Eye of the Beholder", AND "To Serve Man"?

Instead of exclusions, how about the inclusion of Probe 7- Over And Out? Maybe it's just me but I don't think that episode even ranks as an average TZ (let alone a standout).

And I know it has its fans but I never cared all that much for Steel either.

What a relief to know I don't even have to consider spending any bucks on this one.

Yeah that choice doesn't make any sense at all. "ISTBE" too, who the heck picked these?

I guess that's in there just because it's the only Ray Bradbury TZ episode but it wouldn't be in my top 19 episodes either.

Wow, what a random set of episodes. Which fans did they talk to?

Oh well, it doesn't matter. I've already got the Definitive Edition DVD sets, and the blu-rays start hitting next month.

"Kick the Can' would be on my list of episodes NOT to include. Speaking of the missing "The Hitchhiker" episode, did everybody know that their was a digital animation adaptation of the original Mercury Theater radio broadcast of "The Hitchhiker" starring Orson Welles released on DVD. I had always hoped that the Twilight Zone DVD would include that as a 2nd audio bonus, but at least I got it now on DVD.

    Time Enough At Last
    The Howling Man
    Deaths-Head Revisited
    Nightmare at 20,000 Feet
    The Eye of the Beholder
    The Invaders

    Mr Garrity and The Graves
    A Game of Pool
    The Dummy
    The Masks
    To Serve Man
Five Characters In Search Of An Exit
    The Hitch-Hiker
    Twenty Two

Take Two :)Time Enough At Last, The Howling Man, Death's-Head Revisited, Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, The Eye of the Beholder, The Invaders, The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street, Judgment Night, The After Hours, Mr Garrity and The Graves, A Game of Pool, The Dummy, The Masks, To Serve Man, Five Characters In Search Of An Exit, The Hitch-Hiker, The Remaining Three and The sixteen episodes that I have chosen Are Open For Debate...as I see several good choices...The Four Of Us Are Dying, The Passerby, 22, The Purple Testament, A Quality Of Mercy, It's A Good Life, A Stop At Willoughby, The Midnight Sun, The Grave, A Hundred Yards Over The Rim, etcetera. The Point being...I think it would be child's play to select the best 19 episodes with just about any show other than The Twilight Zone.

I'm celebrating "The Twilight Zone" this year by watching the 10 Most Iconic Episodes. Which ten should I choose?
    1. Eye of the Beholder
    2. Time Enough At Last
    3. Nightmare At 20,000 Feet
    4. Living Doll
    5. To Serve Man
    6. The Invaders
    7. The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street
    9. It's A Good Life
    10. Walking Distance

    Is that a good list?

I'd switch The Hitch-Hiker with Living Doll (both are horror episodes but The Hitch-Hiker is IMHO scarier) but that's certainly a darn good list.

I am a sucker for these episodes -> The Howling Man...Time Enough At Last...Judgment Night...Nightmare at 20,000 Feet...Death's Head Revisited...The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street. These are my absolute favorites...the top tier of my personal favorites....not necessarily the best or most popular like...To Serve Man, The Eye of the Beholder and The Invaders...but as ole BobO'Link put it....these six I'll watch at the drop of a hat. :)

All wonderful episodes but Judgment Night and Deaths-Head Revisited are two great 'lesser known' episodes.

I agree with the choices you guys have posted and find fully half the choices on the set puzzling. You'd think they'd poll fans. If they did, I'd like to know what fans...
