hello thanx in advance to all who reply ok heres the problem. A friend of mine knew i was in the market for a new tv bigger than my current 27". Well he had a 60" rptv mx6072c from phillips magnavox that was struck by lightning and a board was fried and it would cost $600 to fix so he couldnt afford it and gave it to me. Well I called around to repair places and told them the problem and they said $250-$350 for in home repair and its $125 just for them to come look at it. The picture looks warped in the corners the RGB(everything looks 3d on menus) is seperated and the av inputs do not work av inputs i think, no image can be seen that is straight its very slanted and neither coaxial inputs work. What Im asking is this a wise thing to fix? and should I? sorry for the length..what do you all think could be the problem

What Jack said. I have repaired a couple of my own TV's and I don't think I would want this kind of project.
