I hate going to the eye doctor (1 Viewer)

Especially when someone calls your name and you look up real fast--zoom everything's out of focus for a second or two!

Hell, it's one thing if someone calls my name and the vision is blurry for a second or two. What happens though if I'm on the expressway checking traffic? I don't have a second or two for my eyes to adjust if someone starts to drift into my lane. Think I might have to give these toric lenses a second thought. At least I'm being given a trial pair to test.

i also use toric contact lenses. they seem to work pretty good.
my eyesight is so bad in one eye that when the doctor did the "cover-one-eye-and-read-the-chart" thing i wasn't able to read one big "E" on the chart. he asked if i was joking. i was so embarassed.

he later told me he'd never seen a prescription like mine before.

i also found out i have one near sighted eye, one far-sighted eye plus astigmatism (sp?).
anyone wanna go for a drive w/me?
