Though he has a couple of films on his list that I'm not crazy about, the majority are ones I really like.
The few on Steeve's list I have seen are not bad (except for the Ridley Scott one), but not as impressive to me personally as the ones on Matt's list.

Choosing from these lists is more difficult than I expected.
Steeve has by far the most movies on his list (Other than mine) that I own, but he only has one I consider one of my personal heavyweights, Blade Runner. On the other hand, Matt has three, Godfather, Magnolia and Donnie Darko.
I guess I'll go with Steeve.

Have seen many more of these films than in the last matchup -- seen 9 of Matt's (sans "12 Angry Men") and 8 of Steeve's (sans "Time Machine" and "Queen Margot").

I have to go with Matt's list, with heavyweights like "The Godfather", "Taxi Driver", "The Graduate" and "Jaws". The films I don't care for much on his list are "Rushmore" and "Donnie Darko".

Really like "La Femme Nikita", "The Professional" and "Saving Private Ryan" from Steeve's list -- nothing I really dislike. Still, the dramatic strength of Matt's list makes it the winner for me.

I still can't believe that Matt was able to get The Godfather, Taxi Driver and Goodfellas on the same list!
Those are three of my all time favorite movies.
I also really like Jaws and 12 Angry Men.
However, I hated Magnolia, and don't care for The Graduate.
I like, but am not enthralled with Donnie Darko, Boogie Nights, Rushmore.
Regarding Steeve's picks, I love the fact that he is a Luc Besson fan, and has The Professional (Leon) and Le Femme Nikitaon his list. I also love Blade Runner and really like ESB, SPR, Amelie.
But overall, I don't have the same amount of passion for Steeve's overall picks as I do Matt's.
My vote goes to Matt Stone, as much as it hurts to vote against a fellow Luc Besson fan.

I vote for Steeve since he has a lot more movies on his list that I really like than Matt does.

To properly make this decision, I shall weigh the pros and cons of each player's list.
Stoner's Pros
The Godfather- :emoji_thumbsup:
Taxi Driver- :emoji_thumbsup:
Goodfellas- :emoji_thumbsup:
12 Angry Men (1957)- :emoji_thumbsup:
Jaws- a big :emoji_thumbsup:
Donnie Darko- :emoji_thumbsup:
Boogie Nights- a nude Julianne Moore= super big :emoji_thumbsup:
Stoner's Cons
The Godfather- A little tired of its dominance
Rushmore- Didn't live up to the hype
Multiple E's Pros
The Empire Strikes Back- a big :emoji_thumbsup:
Blade Runner- a big :emoji_thumbsup:
Braveheart- :emoji_thumbsup:
The Professional- a big :emoji_thumbsup:
La Femme Nikita- :emoji_thumbsup:
Multiple E's Cons
Choosing 4 movies I haven't seen
The Empire Strikes Back- see Godfather's con
Final Analysis:
I could be persuaded to go either way, but in the end I'll go with my pal E-aplenty.

Well, Matt has Jaws and Magnolia, both of which I love, and Boogie Nights, which is very good. Steeve has Blade Runner, The Empire Strikes Back, The Professional, and Saving Private Ryan, which I love, and Braveheart and La Femme Nikita, which are very good...

I like both list. Each contains one film from my personal top 10 list. But I have to go with Matt Stone. How can I not vote for a guy who has films directed by Coppola, Spielberg, Wes Anderson, PT Anderson, and Scorsese.

Matt - very tough. Double E's got some of my all-time faves, but the fact that Matt chose two P.T. Anderson movies over Steeve's two Luc Besson movies pushes him over the top for me. The dated dinosaurs Twelve Angry Men and The Graduate are a big strike against Matt, but Goodfellas, The Godfather, Anderson, and Rushmore make up for it.

I know I posted this before, but for some reason it's not showing up. Basically the incredible Godfather/Taxi Driver/Goodfellas combo was too much for Steeve's list to overcome.

Matt Stone gets my vote, for a parade of classics that only hits a bump with The Graduate (good, but a mite overpraised by the critics, IMO--to say nothing of the AFI). Haven't seen Donnie Darko.
Nevertheless, Double E gets in some strong shots, including my favorite film of all-time, ESB, and arguably my favorite of the 90s, SPR. The Time Machine is great--love the Morlocks! Blade Runner I like much and await the super DVD whenever that may be. Braveheart is ok, but I've got some uber-reservations about it. Amelie was a slight disappointment to me (it was so overtly "charming" that it actually failed to charm me). Luc Besson films I don't think I'll ever coddle up to, and Logan's Run never struck me as anything too spectacular (though there's nothing inherently off-putting about it).

I have to go for the Grail fest that is
Master Andrew.
I voted for him, and Steeve still doesn't talk to me.

Toughest match yet!
Both have films that I really enjoy and respect.
Andrew Sch has a few more of them than Evan and gets my vote, though his inclusion of Ferris Bueller leaves me scratching my head. :)
Do The Right Thing-**CRAP**
Um, okay.
