I'd take the S6 over the Toureg as well. Not a huge fan of SUV's though. I would not mind seeing the RS4 come to our shores.

The Cayenne and Touareg were jointly developed. (Which joint I don't know). VW is going upscale with lots of new vehicles in the next few years. They will share a lot of engineering with Audi, but will be more "conservative" in looks. I have had a 2002 Passat now for 19 months and it is great. No problems (other then rear brake light burning out).

DBK, the RS6 is coming, so maybe we'll see the RS4

Yup....saw that. A monster. There is rumor that they will be bringing the RS4 over here too. But I am not convinced of it. So my Jetta will have to do for now.

Wait until the Phaeton hits the market. 60-70 grand.

That is a VW shocker. But it is a real nice looking car and got good reviews.
