3D How the Studios, Theatre Owners, and TV Manufacturers All But Killed 3D (1 Viewer)

Disney PR says a 3D JUNGLE BOOK "will be available sometime later this year," whatever that means...

Disney is the same studio that said the 3D version of Frozen would be released in the U.S. near the end of the year (2013). It never showed up, nor did Disney offer any explanation.

Which makes absolutely no sense as they are releasing Jungle Book, Through the Looking Glass and The Huntsman: Winter's War on Blu-ray 3D in the UK all on day one. The masters are available and ready to go. Some executive here at Disney Home Video in the US really seems to have it in for 3D and has no respect for the desires of the people on this thread.

Opps...right. But this title makes Universal as schizophrenic as Disney with 3D releases. We get "It Came from Outer Space" (Thank you VERY much Universal) but no 3D release of "The Huntsman: Winter's War". Please Hollywood, if it was at the theater in 3D please release it on blu-ray 3D. Having to import titles is annoying and is not good customer service.

HUNTSMAN was not released in 3D in the US theatrically. That's why there is no disc release in the format.

Looks like no 3D blu-ray release of The BFG or Pete's Dragon in the US or in the United Kingdom so no possibility of a European import is showing up. Maybe Asia will have the option. Forget 4K studios I want my 3D! 3D haters must be so happy now.

The BFG is being released on 3-D Blu-Ray in Germany and the UK.
