I am about to buy a Arcam FMJ P7 amp. 150wpcx7. I have a avr300 that I will be selling, and getting a processer "not sure which one yet" but is this amp out of date, and can an amp be out of date? I have seen a few reviews but in 06-07 and they seem to be very possitive, but as times chage, so does equipment. Does most of the sound come out of the amp, or the processer? So I can get a processer that typically won't sound as good as an Arcam, or does the processer matter sound wise?
Thanks in advance

Amps don't go out of date...
There is one universal constant in home audio...
Technologies come and go, tastes in speakers may change...but a good amp is forever.
