This is something that is perplexing me. I understand that if the content is in surround sound then the left, right and center speaker will each play what they are supposed to, but what if the content is mono or stereo?

One day I was listening to music when I realized how off it sounded. It was the song Song For The Deaf by Queens Of The Stone Age, which has some pretty cool use of stereo.... It just sounds muddy and weird. I started playing with toggling the "TVOL" and "TSHD" buttons, but I dont think I ever managed to get it to sound quite right.

Its definitely not a high end sound bars. Its a Vizeo 3.1 Model: SB3831-C6.

So what is the best way to set the soundbar for music?

Vizio doesn't list any sound modes. Just that it can decode DD and DTS.

Not sure what DTS Studio sound is...

But I doubt the intention of this is to attempt music. 2.75" drivers aren't going to accomplish much.

Better than a TV....though.

It would be nice if I could just turn off the center so i just have left and right.... The onely speaker I have availible in my home are the built in ones on my laptop, the soundbar and tv. I supposed I could use headphones.
