How do you mount the center on top of the TV?

Most of the RP tvs I've looked at - even the CRT ones - don't have a terribly wide platform on top of the TV. Do you guys stick a gob of velcro up there, or what? How do you get the speaker to stay?

I feel like there must be some sort of trick to it, of which I'm not savvy.

My RPTV has a lip, which is the height of a plastic VHS case. I just stick it under there to give the speaker a bit more support on the back end. I also have attached rubber feet to the bottom of the speaker to give it some grip. The set top platforms look good, but the angle on the back side of my set is too sharp for them to work.

    Mine fits fine.

Some people like to get rubber door-wedges and use these to make feet for the center speaker and give the center some downward tilt so it points more directly at the listeners heads.

    Frank,

You can purchase small adjustable platforms that sit on top of the TV. These can support a center speaker or A/V equipment. Both my neighbors have them for their RPTV's. These can be found at Best Buy and Wal Mart.

I used little two sided sticky foam pads, pretty thin (looks like speakre is flushmount), about 1 cm x 1 cm each, have 8 of them holding a relatively small center.
