I am looking for the best way to play FLV files from my PC to my TV.

I have the following equipment and my PC, all hard-wire networked:

Sony 70" HDTV

PlayStation 3

TiVo Series 3 HD (Free TiVo Desktop running on PC)

Oppo BDP-83

DirectTV DVR HR22-100

Panasonic DMP-BD85K

I would rather not have to convert the files. I do not want to connect the PC directly to the TV.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, FLV (Flash Video) files will not likely be read or managed by any of these, in fact, I can't imagine it happening to any of them. You could convert them to WMV (videohelp can work with that, google it) at which point your PS3 would pick it up, but a machine with the Flash Video decoder would have to be present to really do it direct (like an HTPC). Otherwise, you're kind of out of luck.

You could hook up a media player to your set-up.
One such as the Lacie http://gizmodo.com/5411952/lacie-lacinema-classic-hd-1tb-media-player-for-250. They are HDMI connected 1080P and play virtually every type of video file including FLV.
