Hi,

You can buy the Kenwood HTB-504(i think the is the model, I will check) for 399.00 and that is a HTIB, but doesn't come with a DVD. But you can buy a dvd player seperate for as low as 100.00 so that would be at 500.00 total. The Kenwood HTB-504 is a great bang for the buck. Reciever has DD, DTS and i think PLII and comes with 5 speakers and a sub. I would go this route. Good luck!!

I second the Kenwood HTB504. Go to www.mjshow.com and www.etronics.com and print out the price, take it to Sears for an internet price match(they should price match one of the print outs). I think Best Buy still has the Pioneer DV341 dvd player for $130, if not then get the Toshiba SD1700 for $150. This will blow any of those dvd receiver combo systems away.
The Kenwood HTB504 has DD, DTS, DPL2(with adjustable music mode) and SRS Circle Surround.
