THE ICE CREAM MAN IS COMING TO DVD!

Entertainment Studios Home Entertainment and Starz Home Entertainment
Are Proud to Release For the First Time Ever

EDDIE MURPHY DELIRIOUS On DVD

Aunt Bunny and Her Mustache Are Arriving on DVD February 6, 2007

TORONTO, ON Entertainment Studios Home Entertainment (ESHE) and Starz Home
Entertainment announced today that the classic, comedy concert, Eddie Murphy
Delirious, will be made available for the very first time ever on DVD
Tuesday, February 6, 2007. (pre-book January 10, 2007). Eddie Murphy
Delirious changed the face of stand-up comedy and influenced some of today¹s
most popular cutting edge in-your-face comics including Chris Rock and
Dave Chappelle.

The year was 1983 and NOTHING was sacred! Jokes about puberty, dating, Mr.
T, disciplinarian mothers, and the personality traits of Michael Jackson
were all fair game when the man in the red leather suit took the stage!
Eddie Murphy Delirious arrives on DVD boasting brand-new special features
including an Eddie Murphy Interview hosted by Byron Allen and ten minutes of
never-before-seen footage.

We are proud to distribute this very special DVD along with Starz Home
Entertainment, says Byron Allen, chairman and CEO of Entertainment Studios.
I have known Eddie for more than 25 years and have enjoyed collaborating
with him on the special features and other aspects of this incredibly
popular and highly-anticipated DVD.

This is a tremendous property to distribute under the Starz Home
Entertainment label, stated Bill Clark, executive vice president and
general manager of Starz Home Entertainment. By capitalizing on our retail
relationships, and utilizing Mr. Allen¹s great celebrity contacts as well as
his expertise in the comedy arena, we are confident that Delirious will be
a leading release in the first quarter of 2007.

Entertainment Studios Home Entertainment and Starz Home Entertainment will
support the DVD release of Eddie Murphy Delirious with a comprehensive
marketing campaign reaching millions of consumers including advertising on
Entertainment Studios network of TV shows reaching 30 million consumers per
week.

Eddie Murphy Delirious is classic Eddie Murphy at his best and shows why he
is the ORIGINAL KING OF COMEDY! Taped live and in concert at Constitution
Hall in Washington, D.C. in August 1983, the stand-up special originally
aired on a then-fledgling cable network called HBO.

Eddie Murphy Delirious will be released just after the anticipated
theatrical release of Dreamgirls starring Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx, Beyonce
Knowles and Danny Glover on December 25, 2006. Murphy is also starring in
the feature film Norbit with Thandie Newton (Crash) and Cuba Gooding Jr.
(Jerry Maguire), which will open on February 9, 2007 and was written by
Charlie Murphy.

Look at her Gus, she can't even climb a flight of stairs. Betcha she climbs the f*ck out of a tree, though. You know why Gus? You know why? Cause your wife's a Bigfoot Gus. That's right, she's a Bigfoot. You just shaved the bitch down and taught her to speak. And your kids are Bigfeet too, Gus.

Must buy!!!

Hey boy...you lookin' mighty cute in 'dem jeans!

I tell yuh, I still can't believe I'm reading this -- after all,
we were assured for years that Eddie Murphy would never
let this see the light of day on DVD or any other format.

There is nothing else they could announce for DVD right now
that would make me as happy as this!

Goony-goo-goo!

Ron, I forget if it was this one or Raw that had the Ice Cream Man skit on it. Do you know?

I got an ice cream and you can't have one, cause you is on the wel-fare and your father's an al-co-hol-ic.

I bought ice cream for my nieces and nephews from the ice cream man a few weeks ago and my brother-in-law and I started doin this bit. Everyone that was my age was rolling on the ground laughing, but the kids looked at us like we had 3 heads.

Cool news!

I thought he wanted to bury this special? I guess he figures he can make a ton of money off of it, and he's right.

Eddie is either getting divorce or his divorce is final, either way he probably needs the money due to that legal action.

I remember after Eddie had a brush with the gay community
about the material in either Delirious or Raw (or both)
and shortly after becoming a father, he sort of became ashamed
of it all and for the sake of his kids vowed that he'd never put it out
on video again.

Surprising that Paramount let this one go, as it was VERY popular. And Byron Allen (who was a co-host of REAL PEOPLE 25+ years ago, anyone remember that?) is releasing it on DVD.

Can't wait as well. And I had forgotten "You're on welfare... want a lick? Psych"!!! Used to repeat that whole part all the time. Haven't seen it in years.

"I can tell you're looking at my ass because my butt gets hot!" That's pretty mild, so it was probably the part about, "You come home with that AIDS shit on your lips."

I had this tape in high school, but somebody stole it out of my bag.

"Norton, my friend, how would you like to..."

Never mind. I'm just looking forward to getting this on DVD. I first saw this when I was 13 years old and I was laughing out loud. I'm glad that Eddie is loosening up and I'm intrigued by the 10 minutes of never-before-seen material.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff...

I plan on seeing "Dreamgirls" as well. It'll be nice to see Eddie do his first dramatic role in almost a quarter of a century.

Nice that it's fianlly coming out, but who writes these press releases? HBO had been operating almost ten years at the time they aired this. Hardly a "fledgling" channel.
